Mystical Moments
Mystic, Connecticut (mystic.org), is one of the top tourist destinations in the country. Located a few miles up the Mystic River from the eastern end of Long Island Sound
where the sound meets the Atlantic Ocean, Mystic offers fun for the whole family. Arrive early and stay late! You will experience everything that Eastern Connecticut has to offer.
Mystic is located halfway between New York and Boston. Travel is easy.
Providence Airport (45 min. away) and Hartford Airport (1 and 1/2 hours away) are closest. Amtrak trains stop in Mystic or nearby New London and Westerly, Rhode Island.
For Mystic, take Exit 90 off Interstate 95.
Our base for the weekend, the Mystic Hilton is located across the street from the Mystic Aquarium, next to the Olde Mistick Village “shoppes”. It’s an easy one-mile walk
to the Seaport Museum. The Mystic Hilton has all amenities of a modern hotel, including
restaurant, swimming pool, fitness center. There is also the full service bar, “Soundings”, (which will be renamed “Off Soundings” for the weekend) that offers a perfect venue
for late night wood shedding. The Mystic Hilton will be the site for Friday and Saturday night performances by groups from local colleges. On Sunday the Hymn Sing, Brunch
and Reprise will be in the hotel ballroom. For reservations at our group rate, good for
May 3-7, visit the Mystic Hilton website, log into your HHonors account and use the Group Code SING for the discounted rate of $169.00/night.

Friday
Friday cocktails will be served next to the Beluga tank in the Mystic Aquarium.
The Belugas are natural performers who appear genuinely interested in the curious creatures on the other side of the glass. In the event of rain, the party will move to the indoor Titanic Exhibit, where we could all crank out our best Celine Dion impressions. Dinner Friday night is on your own. We suggest you try one of the restaurants in the nearby Olde Mistick Village. Don’t miss the Friday College Concert at the Mystic Hilton!

Saturday
Saturday performances will be at the historic Union Baptist Church, on a hilltop overlooking downtown Mystic, a tourist paradise filed with shops and restaurants.
The church is right next to Mystic Pizza, so the traditional box lunch will be spiced up
with pizza delivered to the church hall by someone other than the young Julia Roberts.
Saturday afternoon you are free to explore the Mystic Seaport, the Museum of America and the Sea. If you want to perform for the public at the Seaport, we have arranged for the historic Greenmanville Church to be available for groups to perform
on an informal basis.
Saturday evening, we are back at the Mystic Seaport for cocktails and a New England dinner at Lattitudes 41°, the Seaport’s premiere restaurant. We will be serenaded with
sea shanties by the Elder Idlers, professors and staff from the Coast Guard Academy. After dinner, it is back to the Mystic Hilton for the Saturday College Concert and late
night singing at the “Off Sounding“ Lounge. For those of you who are interested in Native American gaming customs, both the Mohegan and the Pequot tribes offer late night seminars in nearby casinos.
